Pangea, an American freelancing platform, initiated rebranding and asked me to design a collection of icons for their website and app. Each icon would appear on the screen in specific situations, such as an error icon displaying alongside error text when something goes wrong. I also helped refine the design of their mascot, Leafy, making it more appealing to users.

When designing these icons, visual storytelling and keeping an illustrative style were my two priorities. I developed each icon to depict Leafy in various settings or narratives, like in the "No applicants yet" icon where Leafy is waiting in the office with no applicants arriving, or the "No messages yet" icon where Leafy opens a mailbox only to find a bird nest inside. My goal was to convey the intended message through visuals, rather than just text, to create a more engaging and meaningful experience with these icons.
