01. Thesis Film - The Pearfect Team
These are parts of the storyboard from my thesis film, The Pearfect Team, presenting a humorous chase sequence that provides a break from an intense action scene. The scene opens with a flower-shaped tunnel, as the story takes place in a futuristic tree city called “Cecile” inhabited by various types of anthropomorphic fruits. The protagonist, Hades, a pear secret agent, is tasked with finding an escaped Water Bear that grows larger by consuming everything in its path. However, Hades' lone-wolf attitude not only alienates him from his friends but also puts him in danger. He must overcome his arrogance and learn to work with others to succeed.

02. Independent Film - Double-Cross
These are parts of the storyboard from my third-year film, Double-Cross. The film features a series of thrilling fight sequences and actions. In the story, our protagonist, Hades, a secret agent, is facing a new challenge to complete his mission and save his girlfriend, who is in grave danger. Getting the key poses and timing correct is crucial in the storyboarding process. To choreograph my own fighting poses, I studied scenes from various action movies, anime and games. I also applied different storyboard techniques, such as the 180-degree rule, and carefully designed shot size, camera angle, framing, and camera movement to ensure the actions flows smoothly. The boards were completed in black and white style with arrows to indicate movement directions.

03. Professional Work - Storyboards for Financial Service Corporate
I had the opportunity to work with the DVI Group, who reached out to me to design animation storyboards for Protective Life Corporation's life insurance and annuity product. Using indigo and blue as the primary colours, gold as the accent colour, and other neutrals like white, black, and grey as supportive colours, I was able to produce modern, clean and simple-looking storyboards.

06. Professional Work - Storyboards for Music Video
These storyboards were created for the song "Invisible Blue," inspired by the 12th-century mystical epic The Conference of the Birds by Persian poet Farid ud-Din Attar. The poem, a pinnacle of Sufism, tells the allegorical tale of a group of birds on a journey, encountering moral lessons along the way.
